Joint Pain in the Monsoon? When a Digital X-Ray Is Actually Needed

Damp monsoon weather makes existing joint problems feel worse. Most pain settles with rest — but some needs imaging. A digital X-ray is the fastest, lowest-cost way to see bone and joint structure.

    Aarvak's X-Ray Scope

Aarvak Diagnostics provides digital X-ray only for the hip joint, knee joint, ankle joint and chest. If your doctor has advised imaging of another region, we will tell you upfront so you don't lose a trip.

    When a Joint X-Ray Helps

    • Pain that persists beyond 2–3 weeks despite rest
    • Swelling, deformity or grinding on movement
    • Difficulty bearing weight after a fall or twist
    • Suspected osteoarthritis — joint-space narrowing and spurs show clearly
    • Follow-up of a known fracture or joint condition

    When a Chest X-Ray Helps

    • Cough lasting more than 2 weeks
    • Fever with breathlessness or chest pain
    • Pre-employment and pre-operative screening
    • Alongside a PFT test for breathing complaints

    X-Ray Isn't the Whole Answer

Joint pain can also be inflammatory or metabolic. Pair imaging with blood tests when appropriate:

    • Uric acid — gout, very common in Gurugram professionals
    • RA Factor and CRP — rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis
    • Vitamin D and calcium — bone strength
    • CBC and ESR — infection or systemic inflammation

    Booking

Walk in for X-ray at our Sector 67 centre, or book a slot online. Blood tests for the same complaint can be collected at home. Imaging follows NABL protocols; certification application submitted.
